A top load E.P.D.M. gasket is used to position and weatherseal the glass in the aluminum pocket. Center Glazed Systems are compatible with most United States Aluminum entrance doors.
The ArcticFront™ Series 45X High Performance Storefront System offers optimal thermal performance with the installer-friendly features of a traditional storefront. The NFRC-rated ArcticFront™ Series 45X Storefront can produce U-factors ranging from 0.37 using 1" (25.4 mm) low-E insulating glass, to as low as 0.19 using specially configured insulated glass units. The Series 45X utilizes the new ArcticFront™ Series 375-T High Performance Medium Stile Thermal Doors and is compatible with all U.S. Aluminum Thermal Windows.
Flush Front™ Systems feature screw race joinery and panel-type installation which allows for shop or job site fabrication. Injection-molded water deflectors at intermediate horizontals and a continuous sill gutter with factory pre-punched weep slots ensure control of any infiltrated water. The plane of the glass may be reversed from exterior to interior or any combination to give these standard systems a custom look. All series may be glazed from the inside or outside using a top load E.P.D.M. glazing gasket. Flush Front™ Series FT offer improved thermal performance using the Poly-Aluminizer™.
The Series OST451 Thermal Storefront System is engineered for optimal thermal performance and California Title 24 compliance. Offset glazing produces a flush appearance, while a slim 2" (50.8 mm) face trim and 4-1/2" (114.3 mm) depth offer a material cost advantage. The OST451 Storefront is a straight-cut and stack system. No notching is required, which expedites installation and reduces labor.
Additional features include injection molded water deflectors, a continuous head and sill, and a top-load EPDM gasket that permits interior or exterior glazing. The available OST451 SSG model provides uninterrupted horizontal glass spans for a streamlined aesthetic.
